Emily Daws | Charleston Textile House

Meet Emily

Collections inspired by memory, shaped by nature, and rooted in place.

Emily Daws is an award-winning textile artist and designer based on Johns Island, South Carolina. Influenced by the Lowcountry and the foothills of the Blue Ridge, she develops distinctive collections through hand-drawn motifs and considered color.

Her work reflects a personal connection to landscape, history, and the objects collected over time, resulting in fabrics and wallcoverings that feel grounded, expressive, and enduring.
