Shipping & Return Policy

Order Processing & Production

Emily Daws focuses on small-batch production, with many items made-to-order specifically for each customer.

Production timelines vary by product and are listed on individual product pages when available. Orders are processed once payment has been received.

Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. During periods of high shipping volume or carrier delays, transit times may be extended.

If there will be a significant delay with your order, we will contact you via email.

Signature confirmation may be required for select shipments.


In-Stock Inventory

In-stock items are typically processed within 2–3 business days.

Common items kept in stock may include:

  • Select throw pillows

  • Fabric and Wallpaper Swatches and Samples


Estimated Lead Times for Made-to-Order Products

Estimated production timelines are as follows:

  • Printed Fabric by the Yard: 7-10 business days

  • Wallcoverings: 3–6 weeks

  • Pillow Covers: 2-3 weeks

Lead times are estimates only and may vary depending on material availability, fabrication schedules, and order volume.


Shipping Methods & Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on package dimensions, weight, destination, and carrier rates.

We currently ship within the United States only.

Most online orders ship via USPS or FedEx depending on the size and nature of the shipment.

Expedited shipping may be available upon request. Please contact our studio for a shipping quote prior to placing your order.


Shipment Confirmation & Tracking

You will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to become active.


Risk of Loss

Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the order has been transferred to the shipping carrier.

Emily Daws Textiles is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged after shipment.

If your shipment arrives damaged, please retain all packaging materials and contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim.


Damaged Shipments

Please inspect all shipments promptly upon delivery.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact info@emilydawstextiles.com within 48 hours of delivery and include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the item

  • Photos of the packaging

We will review the issue and determine the appropriate next steps.


Return & Exchange Policy — All Sales Final

All Emily Daws Textiles products are custom printed, cut, fabricated, or produced specifically for each order.

For this reason, all sales are final and we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges.

This includes:

  • Fabric by the yard

  • Wallcoverings

  • Made-to-order pillows and furnishings

  • Custom or specialty orders

  • Sample Sale, Pop-Up, and Holiday Market items

We encourage customers to order memo samples prior to purchase.

Approved manufacturing defects or shipping errors will be reviewed individually.


Fabric & Wallcovering Variation

Due to the nature of small-batch printing and natural substrates, slight dye lot, color, texture, weave, or finish variations may occur between swatches and production runs.

We recommend ordering the full quantity required for your project at one time to help ensure color continuity.

Natural linen slubs, texture variation, and characteristics associated with digital printing are inherent to the material and process and are not considered flaws.


Workroom & Fabric Inspection Notice

Customers, workrooms, and installers are responsible for inspecting all goods prior to cutting, fabrication, treatment, or installation.

No claims will be accepted once fabric has been cut or processed in any way, or once wallcoverings have been installed.

Any manufacturing concerns, stains, misprints, or defects must be reported within 3 days of receipt by emailing info@emilydawstextiles.com with supporting photographs.

All fabric should be stored properly prior to fabrication and installation. Emily Daws Textiles is not responsible for damage caused by improper storage or handling after delivery.
