
Creative Marketing Internship — Summer 2026
Emily Daws is seeking two Creative Marketing Interns to join our studio and gain hands-on experience within a growing boutique textile brand. This opportunity offers exposure to creative business operations, brand storytelling, and digital marketing within the luxury home industry.
Interns will work alongside our small team and experience the daily rhythm of a working design studio — contributing to marketing initiatives, visual storytelling, and operational projects that support both our retail and trade clients.
This role is ideal for students interested in branding, digital marketing, interior design, or creative entrepreneurship who are eager to learn how a design-focused business operates behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with social media planning, content creation, and engagement across platforms
- Support product photography and visual storytelling for marketing campaigns
- Help organize digital assets and assist with marketing materials for trade outreach
- Assemble trade mailers, memo packages, and other industry marketing materials
- Assist with sample organization, inventory management, and distribution
- Support digital marketing initiatives such as Pinterest content and website updates
- Conduct light research and organizational projects using AI tools and modern digital workflows
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Canva, Photoshop, Shopify, Pinterest, and Meta Business Suite
- Familiarity with AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Claude, ChatGPT or similar platforms
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and follow through independently
- A proactive, curious mindset with an interest in branding, design, and marketing
- Interest in modern digital tools and AI-assisted workflows is encouraged
Bonus Skills
The following are helpful but not required:
- Interest in interior design, textiles, or the luxury home industry
- Photography or photo editing experience
- Experience managing or growing a social media account
- Familiarity with Pinterest strategy or content marketing
- Experience with digital organization tools such as Notion, Airtable, or similar platforms
Internship Details
- Two positions available
- 12 hours per week
- Location: Emily Daws Showroom, Johns Island, South Carolina
This is an unpaid internship designed to provide meaningful hands-on experience in branding, content creation, and small-business operations within the creative industry.
